"P.Y.T. (Pretty Young Thing)" is a song on Michael Jackson's 1982 hit album Thriller.

The song was originally written by Jackson and was a mid-tempo R&B jam. Quincy Jones wanted it to be more upbeat so he re-wrote it and it was Jones' version that appeared on the Thriller album.
Jackson's original version of "P.Y.T." can also be heard on disc 2 of Michael Jackson: The Ultimate Collection.
