Thriller Live with Tito Jackson!

Thriller Live is the first multimedia spectacular specially created to celebrate the incredible career of arguably the world's greatest entertainer - Michael Jackson. The tour kicks off at the Hexagon in Reading on Sunday 6 May.

Tito Jackson will play compere to a spectacular night celebrating the career of this brother Michael and the music of the Jackson 5.

This multimedia show features videos and over 30 performers including a full company of sensational West End singers, a live band, a gospel choir and fantastic dancers paying tribute to the true King of Pop.

The show of course also includes over two hours of hit songs including the following:

Thriller, Blame It On The Boogie, I Want You Back, I'll Be There, Show You The Way, Can You Feel It, Rock With You, She's Out Of My Life, Beat It, Billie Jean, Earth Song, and many more.

Tito Jackson, star of The Jackson 5, and most recently judge on BBC1's hit celebrity talent show, Just The Two Of Us, has been confirmed as compere for the tour, which starts on Sunday 6 May at The Hexagon.

With Michael Jackson and The Jackson 5 (following Jermaine's Celebrity Big Brother success and Tito's success on British TV) very much in the news, Thriller LIVE is set to be one of the year's most crucial shows.

The tour itself also coincides with the 25th anniversary year of the Thriller album's release.

Michael Jackson Last Week Update

*Jermaine to start a TV Show
*Jackson Family Auction
*50 cent Collaborates with Michael Jackson

Three of pop star Michael Jackson's older siblings - brothers Tito and Jermaine and sister LaToya - have teamed up with US television's CBS network for an American Idol-style TV contest to find the next big family singing act reports Reuters.

CBS has made an eight-episode commitment to the show, which will be called Pop Dynasty and feature the three Jacksons as celebrity judges in a talent-competition format similar to the Fox network's smash hit, a CBS spokesman said on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, Michael Jackson is considering legal action to stop his personal memorabilia
being included in a Jackson family auction.
Over 1,100 Jackson family items are due to be sold in ‘The Jacksons Auction’
at Las Vegas’ Hard Rock hotel on May 30 and 31, but the ‘Thriller’ singer
wants to stop the sale, according to Associated Press.

Michael’s spokeswoman Raymone K. Bain said: "Mr. Jackson was not aware and
he is extremely upset that his memorabilia was included."
Guernsey's auction house said items include Michael Jackson's gold record
for his ‘Thriller’ album, handwritten lyrics for The Jackson Five hit ‘ABC’
and a ‘Victory Tour’ programme signed by the Jacksons.

There is also a test pressing of The Jackson Five's ‘I Want You Back’,
Marlon Jackson's glitter jacket, Randy Jackson's futuristic 1984 stage boots
and a white fedora believed to be from Michael Jackson's ‘Bad’ album music
video.

The collection was owned by Florida luggage transportation company Universal
Express Inc, which bought it last year from a New Jersey construction
company owner.

The former owner, Henry Vaccaro, claimed a warehouse full of Jackson
memorabilia during a bankruptcy case.
Michael and his sister Janet sued to stop Vaccaro from taking ownership, but
a Los Angeles judge threw Michael's claim out of court last year.
The status of Janet’s claim is still unclear.

In other news, Michael Jackson is enlisting the help of 50 Cent for his new album

Reports claim the duo will record a song, likely to appear on a mixtape by DJ Whoo Kidd of G-Unit.

Rumors have also been circulating about Michael Jackson collaborating with rapper Akon on his upcoming album. Akon simply said "That's all up in the air right now, I can't really talk about it."
