MJs DNA in perfume???

London, Nov. 28:
You can now wear Michael Jackson - thanks to a perfume that has been made using DNA samples from the late singer's hair.
A Los Angeles-based company called My DNA Fragrance claim to engineer scents from human genetic codes.
The firm recently joined forces with John Reznikoff, who has the world's largest collection of historical hair - including some of MJ’s.
According to their website: "DNA can be extracted from hair shafts with or without the follicle intact.
"My DNA Fragrance has analysed Reznikoff's private collection of celebrity hair and is now engineering exclusive fragrances of each celebrity."
They are selling perfume made from hair from Elvis Presley, Marilyn Monroe, Napoleon Bonaparte and even Edward IV.
The chairman of the company, Carlton Enoch, told The Sun: "We use the genetic code to formulate the fragrance. If you are putting on MJ's perfume it's a unique fragrance to him."
"The biggest seller is Elvis, but MJ is selling very well too. It's a powerful fragrance and there is no alcohol in it.
"We use aloe vera so it doesn't evaporate into the air. It lasts the entire day and it's good for the skin."
"We had the actor Samuel L. Jackson call up to get his own perfume made - it's so unique and special that he wanted it."

Michael Jackson's glove of moonwalk dance in 1983 was auctioned off for $350,000!!!!

NEW YORK – The shimmering, white glove Michael Jackson wore when he premiered his trademark moonwalk dance in 1983 was auctioned off for $350,000 — plus tax — on Saturday.
Winning bidder Hoffman Ma of Hong Kong will pay $420,000, including taxes and fees, for the rhinestone-studded, modified golf glove Jackson wore on his left hand for his moonwalk on Motown's 25th anniversary TV special.
The glove was the top item in a collection of Jackson memorabilia on the block at the Hard Rock Cafe in Times Square. Its pre-auction estimate was $40,000 to $60,000.
"It was a fairly good discount," said Ma, a 36-year-old Jackson fan who bought the pop-music treasure on behalf of the Ponte 16 Resort Hotel in Macau.
As the price of the glove soared, fans roared and squealed — echoing the kind of frenzy that accompanied the late pop star when he toured the world.
"That's what death brings upon celebrity," said Brendan Doyle, a college student munching chicken fingers from a plate in his lap. "Jackson's death was such a tragedy at such a young age that it pushed up prices."
The pop icon, who died June 25 at 50, had given the glove to Walter "Clyde" Orange, of the singing group the Commodores.
A jacket that Jackson wore on his 1989 "Bad" tour fetched $225,000 — 20 times its low estimate of $8,000.
The sale, held by Los Angeles-based Julien's Auctions, also included a fedora Jackson wore for the moonwalk. It sold for $22,000, against a $2,000 high estimate.
New Yorker Linda Derogene said she was willing to spend up to $5,000 for a material link to the performer she's idolized all her life, but never got a chance to see in concert.
"I can't even tell you what it would mean for me. It would be like a dream come true," she said as she waited to bid on something she could afford.
There was no doubt that Jackson dominated the auction dubbed "Music Icons" — of more than 300 items belonging to stars from Elvis Presley and the Beatles to Mariah Carey. The musicians' clothing and instruments filled the small Rock Cafe stage, with two giant photos of Jackson on either side and a huge picture of his famed glove at the center.
Buyers paid the gavel price, plus a 20 percent auction house premium for items over $50,000, and 25 percent for those costing less.

This is it - concert flick tops $200M

"This Is It" is raking in money gloved hand over fist.

The movie of Michael Jackson's final performances as he rehearsed for a concert tour, has passed the $200 million mark at the box office worldwide, Sony Pictures said.

The film has pulled in $61 million in the U.S. and more than $140 million overseas, said the studio.

The movie shows the King of Pop performing such hits as "Beat It," "Thriller," "Human Nature" and "Billie Jean."

Jackson died in June just weeks before his marathon of 50 concerts was to begin in London.

The $200 million-plus gross is almost three times more than last year's "Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus: Best of Both Worlds Concert Tour" - a movie some box-office watchers had used as a benchmark for "This Is It."

The Jackson film opened on Oct. 28 for a planned two-week run, but has since been extended until early next month.

Michael Jacksons Concert was to Literally SPARKLE

Pop legend Michael Jackson was using 300,000 Swarovski crystals to light up his sets and costumes in his comeback shows, but unfortunately the sad thing happened.

The famous "Billie Jean" Glove!!

The “Thriller” singer, whose 50-night “This Is It” residency at London’s O2 arena was to begin next month, would have over 1 million pounds worth of gems in 53 shapes, 40 sizes and 27 colours added onto his costumes and the stage to dazzle fans, reports contactmusic.com.

“As the King of Pop it is only natural for him to be crowned in crystal,” said Nadja Swarovski, vice president of Swarovski Crystal Business.

Choreographer Kenny Ortega, who is working with the 50-year-old star to put together the shows, said the partnership with the jewellery firm had “inspired our fashion and scenic elements to a new state of the art”.

The Concert was supposed to be one of the greatest events and greatest comebacks ever!!

Michael Jackson Autopsy "leaked" is Fake!

That “leaked” Michael Jackson autopsy report is reportedly a fake!

A “leaked” Michael Jackson autopsy report was the headline in a British tabloid Monday. The Sun claimed Jackson’s was bald, covered with needle wounds, bruises, and had broken ribs in a leaked report it had obtained.

A subsequent report says the “report” is totally fabricated.

Bald, emaciated, disfigured, 112 pounds, are among the claims the British tabloid had run. But a later story Monday morning calls the Sun’s allegations and the report completely “fabricated” and “false.

What is correct is the following:
1. The complete Los Angeles coroner’s autopsy report won’t be finished for 4-6 weeks
2. The Jackson family has ordered an independent third party autopsy report to be conducted. Its timeline for completion is yet unknown.

Spokesman denies reports of Michael Jackson's needing a lung transplant

Michael Jacksons' spokesman says an author's claim that the singer needs a lung transplant because of a rare respiratory disease is a "total fabrication," according to Reuters.
The news, rumour though, created a havoc among all MJ fans.
But Thank God!!!.. there is nothing as such.

Planning a Europe Tour

Hoping to spark a comeback and capitalize on his popularity overseas, Michael Jackson is planning a European tour, sources said.

A source with deep ties to the music industry and Jackson's camp said, "He's still big in Europe and Japan. He's very popular in England. He's planning a tour."

One thing is for sure, Americans don’t see Jackson as the same superstar that he was 20 years ago.

His comeback attempts came to a screeching halt when he moved to Las Vegas in December with hopes to drum up interest in his music.

But apparently no offers were made for a show, and it seemed as if people just couldn’t forget the years of musical missteps and disturbing child abuse allegations.

A casino talent booker said that Las Vegas entertainment executives considered him “too radioactive at this time.”

Michael Jackson New Album - 7EVEN; To be released in November 2007

I don't know it's true or not....but i found this on a website..

If things are to be believed then Michael Jackson`s new album is almost ready and remember you read it first here on Associated Content.

The new album boasts of number of melodies and the album has some of the best in the industry working with Jackson. The song which aired few days ago in a radio station has no connection with this album.

The release date is not confirmed and it will be announced in a month`s time.

This album is believed to be the best ever album since a long time in the music world ,it is said to have everything right from A to Z.

Yes, that's right. The title of Michael Jackson's new album has been revealed (along with some more interesting information about the album) by a self-proclaimed MJ "insider". The insider I'm referring to actually has been supplying fans with revealing information since the Invincible album. This is what we now know about Michael Jackson's new album.

The working title for the album is 7EVEN, and it seems as though that title will stick because some serious work has gone into designing the album cover and everything on the album apparently has something to do with the number 7. There are 14 tracks divided into a A and B side (if you will). Although all tracks are still on the same disc. I don't know much else about the album's relation to the number 7. Some fans have suggested 7 singles. Or 7 videos. The album could run for 77 minutes. Who knows?

As for the release date. A HMV in Oxford is apparently already advertising the release date as November 19 2007. According the the MJ insider the debut single will come out in September but the album wont be released until November.

A little bit about the album cover design has also been revealed. Apparently this will appear on the album cover in same shape or form...

The MICHAEL JACKSON in the shape of a 7 is a key point of the album cover's design and will apparently be used a lot as a logo for the album and everything else that comes with it.

As for who is working on the album. Teddy Riley, Rodney Jerkins, will.i.am, Neff-U, Big Chuck, Sean Garret, Akon, John Legend, Ne-Yo and OneRepublic have all been working with Michael Jackson. Out of all the material that has been recording, what actually goes on the album is a different story. Of that long list of names only 2 or 3 of them may have material that makes it on the album.

So there you have it. Michael Jackson's 7EVEN coming out November 2007. Enjoy!

Michael Jackson Last Week Update

*Jermaine to start a TV Show
*Jackson Family Auction
*50 cent Collaborates with Michael Jackson

Three of pop star Michael Jackson's older siblings - brothers Tito and Jermaine and sister LaToya - have teamed up with US television's CBS network for an American Idol-style TV contest to find the next big family singing act reports Reuters.

CBS has made an eight-episode commitment to the show, which will be called Pop Dynasty and feature the three Jacksons as celebrity judges in a talent-competition format similar to the Fox network's smash hit, a CBS spokesman said on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, Michael Jackson is considering legal action to stop his personal memorabilia
being included in a Jackson family auction.
Over 1,100 Jackson family items are due to be sold in ‘The Jacksons Auction’
at Las Vegas’ Hard Rock hotel on May 30 and 31, but the ‘Thriller’ singer
wants to stop the sale, according to Associated Press.

Michael’s spokeswoman Raymone K. Bain said: "Mr. Jackson was not aware and
he is extremely upset that his memorabilia was included."
Guernsey's auction house said items include Michael Jackson's gold record
for his ‘Thriller’ album, handwritten lyrics for The Jackson Five hit ‘ABC’
and a ‘Victory Tour’ programme signed by the Jacksons.

There is also a test pressing of The Jackson Five's ‘I Want You Back’,
Marlon Jackson's glitter jacket, Randy Jackson's futuristic 1984 stage boots
and a white fedora believed to be from Michael Jackson's ‘Bad’ album music
video.

The collection was owned by Florida luggage transportation company Universal
Express Inc, which bought it last year from a New Jersey construction
company owner.

The former owner, Henry Vaccaro, claimed a warehouse full of Jackson
memorabilia during a bankruptcy case.
Michael and his sister Janet sued to stop Vaccaro from taking ownership, but
a Los Angeles judge threw Michael's claim out of court last year.
The status of Janet’s claim is still unclear.

In other news, Michael Jackson is enlisting the help of 50 Cent for his new album

Reports claim the duo will record a song, likely to appear on a mixtape by DJ Whoo Kidd of G-Unit.

Rumors have also been circulating about Michael Jackson collaborating with rapper Akon on his upcoming album. Akon simply said "That's all up in the air right now, I can't really talk about it."
